Is Beardo Hair Wax strong enough ?

This is an extensive review on the Beardo Hair Wax. The article will be broken into many categories that decides whether the hair wax is good or not ! Does it delivers what it promises to deliver ? Read it till the end to know it all.

Packaging

It comes in a black jar which looks good to me as its all black. , I dig its all black theme .All the main information is given on the jar which is a good thing to do so. Overall , the packing is okay and won't complain  much about it.

Smell

The scent of the hair wax is pretty good , it may smell like any deodorant or perfume to you. At least it does not smells like some medicine straight outta the box . Pheeeeeeewwww ! Beardo has done a good job with the scent and I will give this to them.

Consistency 

As you open the jar for once you will think the wax is black in color , but no it is colorless as said on the jar "Crystal Gel Wax". I think Gel wax accurately describes the consistency of the product. It looks like gel but it's consistency is between that of a gel and a wax. Packing the best of both the worlds maybe ! Its easy to emulsify between the hands and you wont face any hard time with it.

Styling

There is no tug and pull while applying the product and easy to use. Applies in your hair without being at war with your hair.  The gel wax is supposed to be a post styler as mentioned on the jar to be used as a finishing product on dry hair .

Hold

This is what you all have been waiting for ! Enough of that crap information and tell me already can it hold my hair up straight ?This is what you must be thinking. The company has been emphasizing so much on the strong hold. "Strong Hold" is written all over the jar and their website , But it will be a let down to all that it's not that strong they claim it to be. The site does not mentions anything about the length of the hair it will work on but I tried the product on medium to long hair and it did not provide me with the hold I was looking for. After all the emphasis on the word "Strong Hold" this was a let down . I don't know if it holds good on short hair but it did not work for me.Their so called "Crystal Gel Technology" wasn't enough to provide that strong hold after all.

Finish

The company also claims to provide natural and matte finish and it do so partly. Not the best matte finish but it will work maybe for some. The product leaves a little shine behind and does not gives a complete natural look that it should do. 

Wash ability

A product should also be easily washable as that also counts as how good the product is I don't want to regret to put that thing in my hair and do so much work to get it off my hair.  The product gets off very easily and this maybe some of it's good things. It can be easily washed off with little efforts and saves a lot of hustle.

Price

The Gel Wax costs Rs.275 at the time of writing this on their website and Rs.206 and Rs.239 on Flipkart and Amazon respectively for 75gm jar. This is a budget hair wax and not much should be expected out of it . 

Verdict

The Hair Gel Wax is an okay product at this price range and I wont complain much if it does not provides with the strong hold . You get what you pay for and this product does an okayish job. It certainly does not provides the strong hold that I want but I have very silky hair type which may have been a cause. It may work for you very well and this should not be treated as a point of view and not the final judgement on the product.
